Yorkshire Three Peaks: More Than Just A Fundraising Challenge

24 Miles and 5,000ft of Elevation Gained Over 12 Hours
Nobody remembers how their legs felt climbing the final peak. They remember the people who helped them get there.
Not just the finish line smiles, but the early start, the tired legs, the steep climbs, the moments when motivation dipped, and the encouragement that kept everyone moving forward.
Like any challenge, there were highs and lows. Some sections felt relentless. Others reminded us exactly why we were there.
What stood out most wasn’t individual achievement. It was how we worked as a team.
Checking in on each other. Adjusting our pace. Sharing encouragement. Having a laugh when the weather, terrain, or energy levels weren’t quite going to plan. Making sure everyone got around the circuit together.
Reflecting
It struck us how much this mirrors life in our construction consultancy.
Every project has its own peaks and valleys. There are tight deadlines, unexpected challenges and difficult decisions to navigate.
Success rarely comes from one individual; it comes from people supporting one another, sharing knowledge and pulling together to achieve a common goal.
At MES, whether we’re helping clients navigate building regulations, supporting self-build projects, or delivering consultancy services, the same principles apply.
Progress comes from collaboration, persistence and being there for one another when things get tough.

A Big Thank You From Us!
Most importantly, a huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated and supported us throughout the challenge.
We are genuinely thrilled to have raised £5,000 for The Kirkwood Hospice. An organisation that does incredible work in supporting individuals and families when they need it most.
